For small to medium-sized windows, 35 mm PVC blinds are a stylish and practical choice. They combine a neat finish with easy light control and work well in many different interior styles.
It is important to keep in mind that PVC slats are heavier than wooden, bamboo or aluminium slats. For that reason, we recommend limiting how often heavier systems are fully raised, so the cords are put under less strain. Daily tilting of the slats to control light and privacy remains perfectly suitable.
If you need a system that is lifted frequently, for example in front of a sliding door, aluminium blinds are usually a better option. In those situations, roller blinds, vertical blinds, curtains or Roman blinds can also be practical alternatives.

Measure carefully and check your dimensions in several places. The dimensions you provide are the finished dimensions that will be manufactured. We do not apply any additional deductions after your order has been placed.

Measure at the top, in the middle and at the bottom. Use the smallest width as your reference measurement.
Width deduction for your system:
Measure on the left, in the middle and on the right. Use the smallest height as your reference measurement.
Height deduction for your system:
Benefit: the blind fits neatly inside the window recess and creates a clean, understated finish.
Measure the width at the top and bottom. Use the largest width as your reference measurement.
Width to add: desired overlap
Add the desired overlap on both the left and right sides to the measured width.
Measure the height on the left and right. Use the largest height as your reference measurement.
Height to add: desired overlap
Add the desired overlap at both the top and bottom to the measured height.
Benefit: the window appears larger and less attractive window frames can be neatly concealed.
