This information concerns the VAT applicable to customers living or established within the European Union.
At the moment, we only deliver within the European Union. For private customers and businesses that are not VAT-registered, our prices are shown including VAT, just like a standard purchase in your own country.
The head office of lattestore.be is located in Belgium. Therefore, the Belgian VAT rate of 21% applies by default.
Businesses located outside Belgium, but within the European Union, may under certain conditions place orders with 0% VAT. In that case, the company must have a valid European VAT number, and the customer is responsible for declaring the VAT according to the applicable rules in their own country.
Important note: whether our prices are shown including or excluding VAT depends on the status of your account. This status is not applied automatically. By default, prices are always shown including VAT.
Adjusted 0% VAT status for businesses outside Belgium
You can request this status in two steps:
Please note that transactions with 0% VAT must be correctly declared to the tax authorities in your own country, in accordance with the applicable rules.
Please note: your adjusted 0% VAT status is only valid when your main address matches your registered company address. If you add another address to your account, for example a private address, and set it as your main address, purchases will be processed including VAT.
For small purchases, such as colour samples, we recommend ordering them including VAT. This avoids unnecessary administrative processing for small amounts.
